| The lake Garda, like all alpine lakes, is surrounded by a high mount crown. The mountain is always present in the holyday of those who chose the Garda, also when it is only a setting for the days spent on the beach. The paths are in great numbers, optimally conserved from local alpine sections, with different difficulties, that allow every hiker to find its route. Moreover there are two summits beyond the 2000 meters: monte Stivo and the Altissimo. You can reach them walking for more or less two hours, and in summit there are charming alpine shelters.
The free climbing have found in the Garda a fertile land, therefore to give life to what it is considered the true world-wide championship of free climb, the “Rock Master”, than every year in september is organised in Arco.
The paths, the muleteer, the roads and the bike-tracks of the Garda have been discovered by the lovers of the mountain-bike. There are ways between breathtaking landscapes, forests, grasslands, beaches and cultivated fields.
